SANTIAGO. The typical group Banda Real thanked the Association of Art Critics (Acroarte) for distinction as Typical Group of the Year, an award he shared with the typical music fans.

During the awards ceremony last Tuesday in National Theatre, Joselito, one of the leading voices of the Banda Real, dedicated the award to renowned accordionist Bartolo Alvarado "El Ciego de Nagua", considered a living legend of traditional music.
